Short version: Tipsy Juniper uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. It saves two small items in your browser to make the site work and to remember your choices. This page explains them and how to change your choice.
1. What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small files that websites place on your device. Browsers also offer "local storage", which works in a similar way. Both can remember things between visits.
2. What we use
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage for two items, and one login cookie that only our team ever receives. Everything we use today is strictly necessary for the site to work as you expect.
Your choice. When you first visit, we show a cookie notice with two buttons, "Accept all" and "Essential only". Today both work the same way, because we use nothing optional. We still save your choice, so that if we add optional tools later, such as analytics, they stay switched off unless you accepted them. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
sip_age_ok | Remembers that you confirmed you are of legal drinking age, so we do not ask on every page. | Until you clear your browser data |
cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie choice (accept all, or essential only). | Until you clear your browser data, or change it |
site_admin | A login cookie, set only when a member of our team logs in to the private corporate area. Visitors never receive it. | 12 hours, or until log out |
3. What we do not use
- No advertising cookies or trackers.
- No analytics cookies.
- No third-party fonts or scripts. The fonts on this site are stored on our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or other font services.
- No embedded social media content.
4. Voice input
If you press the microphone button in the chat, your browser's own speech recognition listens to you. Depending on your browser, the audio may be sent to the browser maker's speech service, for example Google for Chrome. We never receive the audio, only the text. You can choose not to use the microphone and type instead.
5. Links to other sites
If you follow a link to another website, such as a social media page or a shop, that site may use its own cookies. Please read its policy.
6. How to control or delete them
You can delete local storage and cookies in your browser settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Site data". If you do, the site will ask you again to confirm your age and to choose your cookie settings.
We do not track you across websites, so there is nothing for "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off. If your browser sends one, we respect it.
7. If this changes
If we add analytics, advertising or anything else that needs your consent, we will show a clear choice before using it and update this page.
